*The Goods Vehicle Movement Service (GVMS) is designed to ensure the fast and efficient movement of goods within the UK. In the GVMS system, the movement reference number (MRN - Movement Reference Number) is indicated, where in case of successful validation, the goods movement reference number (GMR - Goods Movement Record) will be received. Without a GMR number, the cargo vehicle will not be allowed to cross the border.
